New GoHealth building

A new GoHealth Urgent Care, on the corner of Washington Street and Retreat Avenue, is expected to open in Spring 2026.

Historic property restoration along Jefferson Street

Historic property restoration along Jefferson Street, Washington Street, and Retreat Avenue is ongoing, with 94 and 104 Jefferson Streets expected to be complete in Summer 2026. Additional work on properties on Retreat Avenue, and Washington and Jefferson Streets is in development.

Exterior of Arrival Center

The foundation has been poured for the new Arrival Center on Jefferson Street will become the gateway to the campus, featuring 1,100 parking spaces, a conference center, meal options, gardens, and more.

Medical oncology and infusion clinics

New medical oncology and infusion clinics in the Jefferson Building at 85 Jefferson Street will support the growing need for specialized oncology care.

Community Corner

The Community Corner, featuring outpatient primary and specialty care for the community on the corner of Washington and Jefferson Streets, is currently in the first phase of construction.

Exterior of Tower

The defining element of HHC 2035, a new 14-floor tower will stand between the main entrance and the Jefferson Building, including state-of-the-art procedure rooms, prep and recovery spaces, and 216 inpatient beds.

Interior of Emergency Department

The Emergency Department expansion, including a new front entrance, 25 additional beds, new covered ambulance bays, and a connector to a new medical observation unit will support patient flow and experience.

Medical observation unit

A new medical observation unit in the Conklin Building adjacent to the Emergency Department will support lower-acuity care.

Hartford Hospital Medical Office Building

The Hartford Hospital Medical Office Building is set for a lobby refresh featuring new furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

A new substation in the Hall-Wilson Building was completed in 2025 to energize the hospital and future projects.
