From check in very friendly and funny (a little humor) goes a long way especially when you don't feel so good. My sister comes with me to all my appointments as I hardly remember anything and we both liked our APRN

All staff were professional and friendly. Wait time to be taken was less than 5 minutes. After initial vitals were taken, Brandon Ito appeared quickly and we discussed my condition in detail. Medication levels were adjusted and prescriptions sent to my pharmacy. A plan of what to expect next for my condition was discussed and I was encuraged to contact the office if the plan doesn't work as agreed upon. A follow up visit was scheduled. I very much feel I am being well taken care of.

Totally unqualified to treat dementia patients in today's medical landscape. I terminated his care of my husband who was diagnosed with early onset alzheimer's due to the following reasons : 1. Refused to question my husband IN MY PRESENCE AND ACTUALLY TOOK HIM TO ANOTHER ROOM; my husband told him incorrect facts previously documented as incorrect due to dementia; 2. I have over 35 years of experience in the field of tau protein, Microtubules, amyloid deposits, etc having studied these proteins in obtaining my PhD and as a researcher at Yale, USC and UCLA as well as Senior Patent Attorney specializing in CNS BIOLOGICS for the top CNS sections of AbbVie, Abbott, Lilly, Wyeth, Novartis, and others. He was unwilling to even DISCUSS my suggestions concerning a more specific diagnosis (examples - I wanted to explore Frontotemporal disorders, clinical studies, biomarkers, and more). HE REPLIED TO EACH SUGGESTION WITH DEMENTIA HAD NO CURE ONLY DIAGNOSIS WAS AT DEATH ... 3. THE FINAL INSULT was telling me that I was exaggerating symptoms and telling me to consider PSYCHOLOGICAL HELP. I contacted his supervisor DR BARRY GORDON several times but never received any reply. The purpose of this review is for other caregivers: NEVER ACCEPT A DIAGNOSIS OR TREATMENT PLAN from unqualified physician assistants or neurologists. It turns out that my husband has behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia and that the treatment medications were NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE DISEASE. Consult The Alzheimer’s Association, government sites on Aging, Brain Disorders, and the Association of Frontotemporal Disease (AFTD).
