Dr. Phelan is the most thorough dr. I have seen. He was prepared for my initial visit. Had reviewed all my test results and procedures prior to visit. Explained everything to me, and answered all my questions with the detail I wanted. Explained all my medications. I would highly recommend him. Made me feel understood and safe and his care. Very knowledgeable and compassionate.

Dr Phelan is a very young doctor but practices the same way older doctors used to practice medicine. He seems to care. It's a rare find nowadays.

Unexpectedly, a week before hip replacement, I needed clearance from an echocardiogram and stress test. I had no cardiologist Dr. Phelan, who is very personable, managed to see me and schedule both just a few days before surgery. He interpreted them immediately and called me and my surgeon with clearance in time to avoid postponing surgery. I am enormously grateful. I look forward to cardiac health followup with him in a few months.
