I have not enjoyed my care from Dr. Liaw. She could use more precise language when speaking to her patients. Her use of probably and maybe, in the future just cause unnecessary anxiety. My biggest issue is that she does not follow up after care. My visit was a waste of time, as she provided no care. She basically billed me to come in to tell me she couldn't do what I needed and referred me to someone else. She referred me to a doctor Richard Kershen in West Hartford. I have experienced extreme difficulty attaining that appointment because of the operators. People swore they'll return my calls and still haven't hard back. It's been SEVERAL weeks. I wrote her on MyChart to ask for assistance and haven't heard back in over a month. Hartford Healthcare should hire more professional people to answer their phone and execute their scheduling. Going to NYU Langone. At least they pick up the phone and follow up.
