Our meeting with Andrea was exceptional. In addition to her personable and knowledgeable conduct, she took pains to demonstrate that we needn't fear her problematizing us due to our mask-wearing or other factors that some see as political. She also wasn't one of those HCWs who give the sense of having one foot out the door; on the contrary, we felt as if she had all day for our concerns and questions. I would highly recommend Andrea Lauter to loved ones in need of a neurological consult. I also found her intellectual curiosity- regarding certain unusual factors playing a part in my condition- to be heartening!

I have never felt so heard and important during a doctors visit as I do every single time I have an appointment with Andrea. She makes me feel heard, empowered, and valid in my experiences which aid me to advocate and address all my healthcare concerns. Andrea goes above and beyond in helping my manage my migraines even when they're a direct cause of another (non-neurological) health issue. She is the best provider I've ever had and am honored to be seen by her. Also I'm happy to report that after feeling as though my body was failing me for eight months, I finally am beginning to feel relief thanks to the amazing patient care I receive from Andrea. Hartford healthcare is truly lucky to have such a compassionate and knowledgeable employee.
