Dr Amy Brown has been so supportive all during my cancer treatment. She goes above and beyond and I feel privileged to be under her care from my surgery to all the follow-up and recommendations for further treatment.

This was my final appointment with Dr. Brown over a 5 year span. It was a bittersweet visit for me as she provided such good care through those years

Dr. Brown always treats me as an individual, & not just a patient. She is willing to discuss any concerns, or ideas I might have even if they don't appear to be in the area of expertise, she gives me advice on what to discuss with my primary provider.

Dr. Brown is excellent. A good listener! Takes time to explain things well. Which makes you feel comfortable.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Amy Brown. I went into my first appointment feeling absolutely terrified and even in tears, unsure of what to expect. However, by the time I left, I felt completely reassured and at ease. Dr. Brown took the time to thoroughly explain everything during that first visit, making sure I fully understood my situation and felt comfortable before leaving. Her compassion and patience truly made a difference. She is also an excellent surgeon. My follow up care was just as outstanding as my initial appointment. Her entire nursing staff is incredibly helpful and responsive; I especially appreciated being able to message questions or non urgent concerns and receive a same day response . That level of support made a huge difference in easing my anxiety during recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Brown to anyone in need of her care.

My mom had her surgery with Dr. Brown last week, and we were truly taken aback by how exceptional she and her entire team were at Hartford Hospital. From start to finish—before, during, and after surgery—the experience was outstanding. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and consistently checked in on her. My mom felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout her stay. We are incredibly grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown to her during such an important time.

Dr. Amy Brown is nothing short of an Earth Angel!! I was diagnosed with a stage four endometrial cancer in December of 2023. Dr. Amy Brown performed three surgeries on me, all at one time. I had abdominal tumors removed, a full hysterectomy, and a hernia repaired. She and her team showed so much compassion throughout this whole process. I healed quickly and extremely well, without any issues of infections whatsoever. I am cancer free today and remain on immunotherapy until 2027, because of the advanced stage and aggressiveness of the cancer. Without hesitation, I would most certainly recommend Dr. Amy Brown and her team, they are phenomenal!!

Dr. AMY BROWN is an absolutely wonderful surgeon! She is so professional & reassuring. Beautiful inside & out. Patient with all my questions & options before my surgery. Day of surgery, she saw me in Hartford Hospital and calmed me, held my hand and said she would take the best care of me... and she certainly did. My surgery was successful and got the great news that masses on both ovaries were not cancerous. She truly cares about you, as a person, not just another name on a file. She is an exceptional lady & surgeon and I highly recommend her for any health issues you are concerned with and any procedures you need to have! Mary Mackiewicz

I’ve seen Dr. Brown for years and she is just fantastic. I love how now she is in Manchester because it’s so convenient.

Dr. Brown picked me up as a new patient recently. She didn't seem to know my case well and was very rushed during my first visit to her. Also, she was quite dismissive over email about many of my concerns (and I don't think she ever wrote back to me directly--her nurse did, so it was like playing telephone). For example, when I had a suspicious mass, she told me to follow up with your Primary Care Physician since she didn't think it was cancer. I did that, and he had no idea what to do and said I needed to find a different oncologist who would recommend follow-up scans.
